"Prop Desk Staff" is the byline on every story and page on Prop Desk. It stands for one process, the same every day:
- Before the US open, we check every tracked firm's own pages: deals, prices, rules and payout pages for the biggest futures firms, homepages and sales for the rest.
- Changes are compared against yesterday's check. A change is published only once it is confirmed on the firm's own site, help center, official X account or email to traders.
- Anything seen only on a forum, aggregator or coupon site is treated as a claim: we look for it on the firm's own page, and if it isn't there, we don't publish it as fact.
- Every page shows its check date, and every story links its source.
We use software to watch firm pages and flag changes. What gets published is what the firm's own page says.
