Sources
Facts come from the firm itself: its website, help center, official X account or an email it sent to traders. When a firm's pages disagree, we say so and use the most specific page (a rules article beats a homepage banner).
Confirmed or not
A rule change, closure or sale is published as fact only once it is on the firm's own page or account. Reports from forums, aggregators and social posts are claims until then; at most we say "traders are reporting" and keep checking. We never call a firm a scam, and we never name individual traders.
Dates and prices
Every page shows when it was last checked. Prices are copied from the firm's site with the currency stated, and the firm's checkout is the final word. "Up to" numbers and profit splits are the firm's own claims, and we label them that way.
No fake results
We don't post profit-and-loss screenshots, payout claims or "guaranteed pass" promises. Prop firm evaluations are simulated trading products, and most traders don't pass.
Independence
Some links may become affiliate links. That never changes what we report: we call out bad rule changes from firms we work with, the same as from anyone else. See the affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, email hello@propdesknews.com. We fix the page, and on a news story we add a dated correction note at the bottom.
