Questions
What is instant funding at a futures prop firm?
You pay once and start on a simulated funded account with no evaluation to pass. A drawdown limit still applies from the first trade, and most plans add payout rules: a profit goal before each payout and a consistency rule.
Is instant funding cheaper than an evaluation?
Not up front. At Tradeify, a 50K Lightning Funded account is $492 one-time, while a 50K Growth evaluation is $145. You skip the evaluation and its resets, but the payout rules on instant plans are usually stricter.
Do instant funded accounts have a consistency rule?
Most plans on this list do. Published rules run from 15% (Goat Instant Lite, first payout) to 30% (later payouts at Tradeify and Blue Guardian), measured on each payout cycle's profit.
Can I reset an instant funded account?
Tradeify (Lightning Funded) and Goat Funded Futures (Instant Classic) say no resets: if the account fails, you buy a new one. Check the firm's own rules before you buy.
