LucidFlex evals: consistency must be 40% or less to go funded
The short version
- All four Lucid plans pay a 90/10 split: LucidFlex, LucidDaily, LucidPro and LucidDirect.
- LucidFlex: 40% consistency in the evaluation only (50% with an add-on). Funded, you need 5 days with a minimum profit, then you can take 50% of your profit up to $1,000 to $3,000. After 5 payouts you're moved live.
- LucidDaily: request a payout any day for everything above the buffer, with no per-payout cap. The funded drawdown is always intraday, and trading high-impact US news is a hard breach.
- LucidPro checks a 40% consistency rule at every payout. LucidDirect (instant funded) checks 20%.
- Minimum payout is $500 on every plan, and Lucid pays within 2 business days of approval.
Lucid's own LucidDaily pages disagree on the evaluation's consistency rule: the customization page offers 40% (standard) or 50% (add-on), while the evaluation overview lists 50%. Check what your checkout shows.
The four plans at a glance
| Plan | Consistency rule | How payouts work |
|---|---|---|
| LucidFlex | Evaluation 40% (50% add-on); none funded | 5 profit days, then 50% of profit up to a cap |
| LucidDaily | Evaluation 40% or 50%; none funded | Any day, everything above the buffer |
| LucidPro | 40% at every payout | Profit goal plus buffer; caps rise after payout 1 |
| LucidDirect | 20% at every payout | No evaluation; profit goal; caps rise after payout 3 |
LucidFlex rules and payouts
| Size | Evaluation target | Max loss (EOD) | Minis / micros |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,250 | $1,000 | 2 / 20 |
| 50K | $3,000 | $2,000 | 4 / 40 |
| 100K | $6,000 | $3,000 | 6 / 60 |
| 150K | $9,000 | $4,500 | 10 / 100 |
| Size | Profit day | Max per payout |
|---|---|---|
| 25K | $100+ | $1,000 |
| 50K | $150+ | $2,000 |
| 100K | $200+ | $2,500 |
| 150K | $250+ | $3,000 |
- Evaluation: one-time fee, no monthly rebill, no activation fee. Pass in as few as 3 days (2 with the 50% add-on). The daily loss limit is optional, chosen at checkout.
- Funded: no consistency rule and no buffer. Each cycle needs 5 days at or above the profit-day amount and a positive net profit. Then you can take 50% of your profit, up to the cap. Caps don't rise with more payouts.
- Minimum payout $500. Up to 5 payouts per LucidFlex account, then you're moved live.
The consistency rule
Lucid's formula: largest single-day profit ÷ account profit. It must be at or under the limit (Lucid writes "40% or less" and "no more than 40%").
Lucid's example (LucidFlex 50K): a $750 best day when you reach the $3,000 target is 25%, so you pass. If your best day is over the limit, you keep trading until it's back within it.
On LucidFlex and LucidDaily it applies in the evaluation only. On LucidPro (40%) and LucidDirect (20%) it's checked at every payout and resets after each one.

LucidDaily rules and payouts
| Size | Buffer balance | Max daily profit |
|---|---|---|
| 25K | $26,100 | $6,000 |
| 50K | $52,100 | $8,000 |
| 100K | $103,100 | $10,000 |
| 150K | $154,600 | $12,000 |
- Evaluation targets match LucidFlex ($1,250 / $3,000 / $6,000 / $9,000). At checkout you choose the daily loss limit (on or off), an end-of-day or intraday drawdown for the evaluation, and the consistency option. You can't change them later.
- Funded: no consistency rule, and the drawdown is always intraday whatever you picked for the evaluation.
- Payouts: any day you're above the buffer (initial max loss + $100) with positive profit since your last payout. You can take everything above the buffer; minimum $500.
- Max daily profit: make that much in one day and you're moved live automatically.
- With the daily loss limit on, you can request payouts during the session. The daily loss limit is a soft breach: you're locked out until the next session.
- News: trading high-impact USD news in a LucidDaily funded account is a hard breach. Be flat from 1 minute before to 1 minute after.
LucidPro payouts
| Size | Profit goal | Max payout 1 | Max payout 2+ |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $250 | $1,000 | $1,500 |
| 50K | $500 | $2,000 | $2,500 |
| 100K | $750 | $2,500 | $3,000 |
| 150K | $1,000 | $3,000 | $3,500 |
- Each cycle needs the profit goal, the 40% consistency rule and profit above the buffer: $26,100 / $52,100 / $103,100 / $154,600 (initial max loss + $100). You can't withdraw from the buffer.
- Minimum payout $500. For the full first payout on a 50K you need a $54,100 balance; for the $500 minimum, $52,600.
- If you trade after requesting and drop into the buffer, the request may be denied. Lucid says to trade as if the payout is already gone.
LucidPro accounts bought or reset before Nov 28, 2025 (3 PM EST) keep 100% of the first $10,000.
LucidDirect (instant funded) payouts
| Size | Profit goal (1st / later) | Max (1st–3rd / 4th–5th) |
|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,500 / $1,250 | $1,000 / $1,000 |
| 50K | $3,000 / $2,500 | $2,000 / $2,500 |
| 100K | $6,000 / $3,500 | $2,500 / $3,000 |
| 150K | $9,000 / $4,500 | $3,000 / $3,500 |
No evaluation. Each cycle needs the profit goal and the 20% consistency rule; both reset after each payout. Minimum payout $500.
Drawdown
| Size | Max loss | Locks after | Locked at |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,000 | $26,100 | $25,100 |
| 50K | $2,000 | $52,100 | $50,100 |
| 100K | $3,000 | $103,100 | $100,100 |
| 150K | $4,500 | $154,600 | $150,100 |
That's LucidFlex, which uses an end-of-day drawdown in the evaluation and funded stage: it rises with your highest close until your balance passes the trail, then locks at $100 above your starting balance. Requesting a payout locks it straight away. LucidDaily funded accounts use an intraday drawdown with the same max loss amounts. See how the lines move →

Questions about Lucid rules
What is Lucid Trading's consistency rule?
Your largest day divided by your profit must be at or under the limit: 40% in the LucidFlex evaluation (50% with the add-on), 40% or 50% in the LucidDaily evaluation depending on what you chose, 40% at every LucidPro payout and 20% at every LucidDirect payout. LucidFlex and LucidDaily funded accounts have none.
Does LucidFlex have a consistency rule when funded?
No. LucidFlex only applies the consistency rule in the evaluation.
How do LucidFlex payouts work?
Each cycle you need 5 days with at least $100, $150, $200 or $250 profit (25K to 150K) and a positive net profit. Then you can request 50% of your profit, up to $1,000, $2,000, $2,500 or $3,000. Minimum $500, and after 5 payouts the account moves live.
What is Lucid Trading's profit split?
90% to you and 10% to Lucid on all four plans. LucidPro accounts bought or reset before Nov 28, 2025 keep 100% of the first $10,000.
How fast does Lucid Trading pay?
Lucid deducts the payout within a few minutes of approval and pays it within 2 business days. There's no fixed payout window.
What drawdown does Lucid use?
LucidFlex uses an end-of-day drawdown that locks at $100 above your starting balance. LucidDaily funded accounts always use an intraday drawdown, even if your evaluation used end of day.
Can I trade news on a LucidDaily funded account?
Not high-impact USD news. It's a hard breach: you must be flat from 1 minute before to 1 minute after the release.
