Sites that went dark
These firms' websites stopped working, and we couldn't read a closure notice from them. We list only what each address showed when we checked.
- Nexgen ProTrader Funding (Futures, nexgenprotraderfunding.com): Returned "Not Found" on Nov 2, 2026 and a certificate error on Nov 4, 2026. We couldn't read a closure notice from the firm.
- Tick Tick Trader (Futures, tickticktrader.com): Shows a "Site not found" page (Nov 4, 2026).

If your firm closes
- Save your records now. Screenshots of your dashboard, balances, payout history and receipts. FundedSeat's site went down to a bare page after it closed.
- Meet every deadline in the notice. FundingTicks gave traders until January 25 to verify a crypto wallet; Seacrest took final payout requests only until its February 6 close.
- Check how the money comes back. Seacrest said some refunds might go by crypto or bank wire if the original payment method was no longer supported.
- Know what's excluded. Seacrest left giveaway, breached and inactive accounts out of its refunds. FundingTicks refunded every active account whatever its drawdown.
Every example is from the entries above. Before you buy, our guide on how to check a prop firm covers the checks you can run yourself.
Questions
Which prop firms shut down in 2026?
On our November 4, 2026 check: FundingTicks wound down in January, Seacrest Funded closed its prop business on February 6, ATFunded paused in June, and FundedSeat closed on September 28. Nostro and ForFX show closure notices with no date. Each entry on this page links its source.
What happens to my account if a prop firm closes?
It depends on the firm. FundingTicks refunded every active Eval and Master account whatever its drawdown; Seacrest excluded giveaway, breached and inactive accounts from refunds; Nostro moved accounts to FunderPro. Read the firm's notice, and meet any deadline it sets for final payout requests or payment details.
Is FundingTicks still open?
No. FundingTicks wound down in January 2026, and its wind-down notice is still its homepage. It said support would stay open until January 31, 2026.
Is My Forex Funds coming back?
Its website says it is relaunching on November 23, 2026. The CFTC's 2023 case against its operator was a set of allegations, and in May 2025 a special master recommended sanctions against the CFTC over its conduct in the case.
How do you decide what goes on this list?
Whole firms, or a firm's whole prop business, that closed, paused or went dark. Firms that changed or closed one plan but kept trading go in our news log instead. Each entry links the firm's own notice where it is still online, a regulator's page, or the dated trade-press report we relied on where the firm's notice is gone.
How we build this page
We list whole firms, or a firm's whole prop business, that closed, paused or went dark. Each entry quotes the firm where its notice is still online and links that notice. Where the notice is gone, we name the dated trade-press report we relied on and say so. Regulator claims are labeled as allegations unless a court has ruled. We re-check every site each month and add firms as we verify them.
Know of a closure we missed, or a firm that came back? Email hello@propdesknews.com with a link to the firm's own notice.
