Bulenox rules and payouts

The three Bulenox accounts, both drawdown options and how each one pays out, with every number taken from Bulenox's own help center.

The short version

  • Three ways in: Qualification (pass, then pay a one-time activation fee for a Master account), Fast Track (no evaluation, trade from day one) and Momentum (one payment covers the evaluation and its Master).
  • No minimum days to pass and no consistency rule in any evaluation. At purchase you pick Option 1 (real-time trailing drawdown) or Option 2 (end-of-day drawdown, scaling plan, daily loss limit), and it can't be changed.
  • Master payouts need 10 trading days each, a $1,000 minimum, a 40% consistency rule and a safety reserve left in the account. The first three are capped ($1,500 on a 50K). Paid weekly on Wednesdays.
  • Fast Track pays from a profit goal ($3,000 first on a 50K) with a 20%, then 25%, then 30% consistency rule. Momentum Master needs 5 qualifying days and a 35% rule each cycle.
  • No overnight positions: close by 3:59 PM CT. Drawdowns lock at starting balance + $100. Three Master payouts make you eligible, not guaranteed, for a Funded Account.

Bulenox's Momentum page doesn't state a profit split; the 90% figures here come from its Master and Fast Track pages.

Qualification and Master account rules

SizeTargetMax drawdownLocks at
25K$1,500$1,500$25,100
50K$3,000$2,500$50,100
100K$6,000$3,000$100,100
150K$9,000$4,500$150,100
  • No minimum trading days. You can pass in one day, and a day only counts when you place a trade.
  • Option 1: a trailing drawdown that follows your highest account value in real time, open profit and commissions included. Full contract limit from day one: 3, 7, 12 or 15 contracts by size.
  • Option 2: an end-of-day drawdown, a scaling plan (a 50K trades 2 contracts up to $1,500 of profit, 4 up to $4,000, then 7) and a daily loss limit of $500, $1,100, $2,200 or $3,300 that pauses trading for the day instead of failing the account.
  • On a Master account the drawdown locks at starting balance + $100, for example at $50,100 once a 50K reaches $52,600. On Option 2 the daily loss limit is then removed for good.
  • Master activation fee, paid once: $143, $148, $248 or $498 by size, the same for both options.
  • Connecting to Rithmic through a third-party API or trade copier costs $100 a month. You can hold up to 5 Master-level accounts at once (Master, Fast Track and Momentum in any mix); Qualification accounts are unlimited.

The consistency rule

Bulenox's formula: best day P&L ÷ total P&L for the payout period × 100, at or under your account's limit. Missing it is never a rule breach: the account stays open and you keep trading until the numbers fit.

Bulenox's example: a $2,500 best day on $5,000 of total profit is 50%, so not yet. At $7,500 of total profit it's 33.33%, and the 40% rule is met.

AccountRule
Qualification and Momentum evaluationsNone
Master payout40%
Momentum Master payout35% of the cycle
Fast Track payout20% first, 25% second, 30% from the third

All three reset after each approved payout. On a Master account's first payout, the safety reserve counts toward total P&L in the calculation.

Master account payouts

SizeMax, payouts 1-3Safety reserveBalance for a $1,000 payout
25K$1,000$1,600$27,600
50K$1,500$2,600$53,600
100K$1,750$3,100$104,100
150K$2,000$4,600$155,600
  • 10 trading days before each payout. The next 10 start only after the previous payout is completed; weekends, holidays and the days between your request and Wednesday processing don't count.
  • $1,000 minimum. From the 4th payout there's no fixed cap, but each request has to be less than 50% of the account's total profit.
  • The safety reserve stays in the account: your balance must cover starting balance + reserve + the payout. That's how the last column is worked out, matching Bulenox's $53,600 example for a 50K.
  • Split: in Bulenox's words, "the trader receives 90% of each additional payout" and Bulenox takes a 10% commission when the payout is sent.
  • Payouts are processed weekly on Wednesdays; request by 11:59 PM CT Friday to make the next one. Paid by ACH, wire or PayPal, with no Bulenox transfer fee.
  • Before the first payout: a withdrawal form, ID, and a W-9 (US) or W-8BEN (non-US) signed by hand. Electronic signatures aren't accepted.

Fast Track payouts: no evaluation

SizeFirst payout goalEach later goalMax (1-3 / 4 on)
25K$1,500$1,000$1,000 / $1,250
50K$3,000$2,000$2,000 / $2,500
100K$6,000$3,000$2,500 / $3,000
150K$9,000$4,500$3,000 / $3,500
  • No minimum days. Each later goal is new profit counted from the balance at the start of that cycle.
  • $1,000 minimum, and a payout can't take the balance to or below the drawdown line. 90/10 split.
  • Drawdown: $1,000, $2,000, $4,000 or $5,500 by size on both options, locking for good at starting balance + $100.
  • Option 1 allows 3, 7, 12 or 15 contracts. Option 2 allows 2, 4, 8 or 12, with a daily loss limit of $1,200, $2,500 or $3,300 that never lifts (the 25K Option 2 has none).
  • Bulenox's example (50K): the account reaches $53,000, takes a $2,000 payout and drops to $51,000, still above the locked $50,100 floor.

150K$2,500 / $3,000 / $4,000 / $5,000
  • Evaluation: no minimum days, no consistency rule, news trading allowed within the risk limits. It's valid for 30 days from activation, and the Momentum Master is activated free once you're approved.
  • Each Momentum Master payout cycle needs 5 qualifying days ($100, $150, $200 or $250 of net profit by size), the 35% rule and the minimum balance above. Minimum request: $500 on a 25K, $1,000 on the others.
  • A safety net reserve of $1,000, $2,000, $3,000 or $4,500 has to stay in the account after the payout.
  • Option 2 daily loss limit: $600, $1,200, $2,500 or $3,300, with 2, 4, 8 or 12 contracts. Option 1 allows 3, 7, 12 or 15.

From Master to a Funded Account

After three successful payouts on your Master accounts, Bulenox may consider you for a Funded Account trading its capital. It's at Bulenox's discretion and not automatic. You have to accept the Funded Account Agreement; if you decline, that Master account is closed with no further payouts from it.

Questions about Bulenox rules

What is Bulenox's consistency rule?

Your best day divided by your total profit for the payout period must be at or under 40% on a Master account, 35% on a Momentum Master, and 20%, then 25%, then 30% on Fast Track. There's no consistency rule in the Qualification or Momentum evaluations.

Does the Bulenox consistency rule reset after a payout?

Yes. Bulenox resets the best day and total P&L after each approved payout, so each cycle is checked on its own.

How many days before a Bulenox payout?

10 trading days per payout on a Master account, 5 qualifying profitable days per cycle on a Momentum Master, and no minimum days on Fast Track.

What is the Bulenox payout cap?

Master accounts: $1,000, $1,500, $1,750 or $2,000 for each of the first three payouts, then less than 50% of total profit. Fast Track and Momentum Master have their own caps by size and payout number, listed above.

What is the Bulenox safety threshold reserve?

The profit that has to stay in a Master account after a payout: $1,600 on a 25K, $2,600 on a 50K, $3,100 on a 100K and $4,600 on a 150K. Momentum Master uses $1,000, $2,000, $3,000 and $4,500.

Can you hold trades overnight at Bulenox?

No. All positions must be closed by 3:59 PM CT, on every account type.

When does Bulenox pay?

Master payouts are processed weekly on Wednesdays. Requests submitted by 11:59 PM CT on Friday make the following Wednesday.
