The short version
- Six plans: 1-Step, End of Day, Static, Fast Track, Diamond Hands and Direct to Funded. Pass an evaluation (at least 5 trading days on 1-Step and EOD) and ETF assigns your Elite Sim-Funded account within 72 hours.
- The 1-Step drawdown trails your highest unrealized profit, so an open winner that reverses still lifts the floor. EOD trails your highest end-of-day balance and adds a daily loss limit.
- Funded, rewards need the safety net (realized profit equal to the drawdown plus $100, which locks the floor at your starting balance plus $100) and Active Trade Days: 8 in the first reward cycle and 10 in each one after.
- An Active Trade Day needs at least $250 of realized profit and at least 30% of your best day. You keep up to 100% of sim profit up to $25,000, paid on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- No overnight holds, at least one trade every week, and once you're up 20%, giving back more than 35% of that profit can cost you the account.
ETF's rules depend on when you bought. The Active Trade Day rules here apply to evaluations bought from October 2, 2026 at 2 PM PT, and the 1-Step reward table to accounts bought from July 28, 2026. Your dashboard shows your account's exact requirements.
The plans and how you pass
- 1-Step: one evaluation and no daily loss limit. The drawdown trails your highest unrealized profit and counts open and realized gains. On the 50K it is a $3,000 target with a $2,000 max loss: close a $1,000 winner and your minimum balance moves from $48,000 to $49,000.
- End of Day: the drawdown trails your highest end-of-day balance, and a daily loss limit is set from the prior day's closing balance. Open losses count intraday, so touching either limit mid-session fails the account.
- Static: a drawdown that doesn't trail. ETF's Static page lists the 50K with a $2,000 drawdown, a $4,000 target and 4 minis (40 micros).
- Fast Track, Diamond Hands and Direct to Funded (no evaluation) each have their own help article and numbers on ETF's site.
- Passing 1-Step or EOD: hit the target in at least 5 trading days (the One Day to Pass add-on removes the minimum). There's no time limit; evaluations bill every 30 days and your progress carries over at renewal if you haven't failed. Sunday evening and Monday count as one day.
- After you pass: an activation fee applies, $87 a month or a one-time fee, according to ETF's Elite page.
Elite Sim-Funded account rules
- Drawdown until the safety net: it keeps trailing the way it did in the evaluation until your realized profit equals the max drawdown plus $100. Then it locks for good at your starting balance plus $100, and any daily loss limit is removed. On a 50K with a $2,000 drawdown, that happens at $2,100 of profit, with the floor at $50,100.
- The safety net stays in: you can't withdraw it in any reward cycle.
- Loss limit rule: once the account is up 20%, losing more than 35% of your accumulated profit can remove it from the Elite program and cost you LIVE ELITE eligibility. It replaces the original drawdown as the main risk rule.
- Flat before the close: every trade must be closed one minute before the market closes (3:59 PM CT for ES on a normal day). No overnight holds.
- Weekly trade: at least one trade a week. Missing a week closes the account and voids rewards, unless you told ETF about the break in advance.
- Not allowed: hedging the same or correlated instruments across one or more accounts, trading for someone else, and more than one trader per household. Going over your position limit fails the account and, on Elite accounts, forfeits profit (10 micros count as 1 mini).
- Limits: up to 20 active Elite accounts (no more than 5 Direct to Funded), up to 10 Elite resets per account, and only trade copiers on ETF's approved list.
Active Trade Days and reward cycles
| Account | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step 50K | $1,000 | $1,250 | $1,500 | $1,750 |
| 1-Step 100K | $1,250 | $1,500 | $1,750 | $2,000 |

Most you can withdraw in each reward cycle, from ETF's help center on November 4. The minimum request is $250 on 1-Step and $100 on EOD.
- Active Trade Day: a day with at least $250 of realized profit and at least 30% of your best day's profit. If your best day is $1,000, other days need $300 to count. Evaluations bought before October 2, 2026 at 2 PM PT use $200 and 23%. Your best day doesn't reset after a reward, only when you beat it.
- Cycles: 8 Active Trade Days for the first reward and 10 for each cycle after. To move up a cycle you need the days and must withdraw that cycle's maximum, in as many requests as you like.
- When you're paid: rewards are approved Monday to Friday from 3 PM ET and paid on Mondays and Wednesdays. Requests approved by Friday at 5 PM ET go in Monday's batch, and by Tuesday at 5 PM ET in Wednesday's.
- How much in total: up to 100% of sim profit, up to $25,000 in sim payouts per trader and $150,000 across re-entries, according to ETF's Elite page.
- LIVE ELITE: ETF can move you to a live account at its discretion, and says you may be selected after 5 payouts, 50 active trading days or $25,000 in payouts. Live accounts pay an 80% split daily on business days, with no cap.

Questions about Elite Trader Funding rules

At least 5 trading days on the 1-Step and End of Day plans, plus the profit target, with no time limit. The One Day to Pass add-on removes the 5-day minimum.
What is an Active Trade Day at Elite Trader Funding?
A day with at least $250 of realized profit and at least 30% of your best day's profit, on evaluations bought from October 2, 2026. You need 8 for your first reward and 10 for each cycle after.
What is the Elite Trader Funding safety net?
Realized profit equal to your max drawdown plus $100, such as $2,100 on a 50K. Once you reach it the drawdown locks at your starting balance plus $100, and you can't withdraw that amount.
